Cheap and chic covers turn ugly radiators into furniture you can live with
My dad has one of these covers for me...I cant wait until I get it from him. I think the covers make for good shelving when the heat isn't on. Its also great if the wall has been damaged because of the steam/heat released. I've also seen radiators painted a nice color and placed with a piece of wood on top to provide shelving. My radiators are kind of scary at the moment...Previous owners had cats and I did my best to clean them, but they need to be sandblasted to get all of the crud out of them. I wont stop frowning at them until they are 100% clean.
