jhill takes it to the motherland

i am dashing off to teach a stretching class, but it landed in my inbox yesterday and i had to give a shout to this gorgeous new print from JHill Design:





my parents are from ghana rather than sierra leone, but the image captures a lot of the irreverent vibrancy of west african textiles. and the prettiest thing about this is the sentiment behind it: a quarter of the proceeds are donated to an organization dedicated to fighting infant mortality. design with a conscience is something i think we can all rally behind; check the print out and order here.
