Win it baby!

Crocodile Tears is celebrating its first birthday on July 24th! Pretty sweet huh? I love you all...although I do wish you would post a comment or two once in awhile. But seriously, so many of you check out this site on a daily basis, amazing! To help give thanks All Modern is teaming up with Crocodile Tears to giving one lucky reader a Cake Node Bowl in chrome (you know I love my bling!)

All Modern has a fantastic selection of modern furniture and home accessories from many leading designers. Part of CSN Stores, All Modern is just one of over 260 retail sites that offer a diverse array of products from Herman Miller's popular Aeron Chair to cookware by ittala.

You must be a resident of the United States of America or live in Canada (Degrassi!) to enter.

To enter post a comment (hehehe, got you!) stating how you will enjoy the Cake Node Bowl and what your dream craigslist find would be, your dream gem! I'll pick a winner on July 15 (keeping it super technical I will print out all of your cute comments...put them in a hat and viola!). The winner will be posted the next day - so, make sure you leave a name with your comment. After I announce the winner....the winner should email me.

You're absolutely right about the comments. I read you every day to see your wonderful finds. My find would be affordable Heywood Wakefield furniture. No sooner do I think it, I see your great coffee table find - way out of my league, though. In the bowl - a Buddha's Hand - like this

The perfect table and deck chairs for cheap - as found by you once - but this time I actually get to own it!
love you love your blog lets make babies!

My fantasy find is a fabulous giant farm table, handmade by the owner out of old barn rafters or something, and preferably with a whole bunch of Marais chairs (just so I can pick up my perfect dining set all in one trip).

I would put that gorgeous shiny bowl right in my hallway (for keys and other way not glamorous bits and pieces).

And sorry for never commenting! I truly love and appreciate all of your posts!

Hi Kayse, you do an amazing job, and I love your funny comments - always keeping a smile on my face! Thank you for your great blog! I am a multi-time-per-day checker!

I have four bentwood dining chairs and I would absolutely love to find two more to make a complete dining set.

I'm also looking for the perfect set of side tables to our king platform bed. They must have a drawer and a lower shelf with no sides (special use needed).

Did I mention seating? No leather though, b/c we have a cat! Any and all kinds are needed for our old farmhouse.

Thanks again!

I'm with Melanie - a heywood wakefield room divider or case pieces. Love your site and look at it all the time. The bowl would go on my wakefield dining room table and would have absolutely nothing in it (less is more is my motto)...it's gorgeous and doesn't need anything!

oh my! a beauty! because this Cake Node Bowl would be the prettiest thing i own, i may need to carry it around with me. to work. to a party. to the bar or to the movies. "hey everyone - i bet you don't have a Cake Node Bowl as pretty as mine - no you can't put your popcorn in it - it's to admire, not sully - admire it now - see how it shines."

dream craigslist find(s): 1] a wealthy and generous socialite willing to give me his or her spacious boston apartment in exchange for a bag of hydrox cookies, and 2] a giant old-school library card catalog (free of course) and that somehow would end up in (and fit in) my apartment.

I'd give it to my mother as a gift, as to how she'd enjoy it, I'm sure she'd put fruit in it or maybe buttons. Who knows?

I'd be great to find the perfect and most cutest chair. It's to hard to find just the right one. :)

Ohhh I'm so excited! For right now if I won the Cake Node Bowl I would put it on my coffee table. But that's just until I find my dream gem, a hott and sexy credenza for my living room. Once I find my dream gem (I'm checking your blog every day) I would put the Cake Node Bowl on top of it. What is your dream gem, Ms Keyse?

Erin said...

Ooooh...CL dream gem would be a set of HUGE bookshelves -- dark wood, perhaps some ornate carving. The would fit in my dream library. Which, of course, would also be huge. Sigh. Someday!

That beautiful bowl would be the impetus for a total living room makeover. I need more bling!

Congrats on your site's first bd!
I would looove to put this beautiful Cake Node Bowl on my new round glass kitchen table...along with 4 Herman Miller, Calligaris or Kartell blue dining chairs I have yet to hunt down on craigslist!

Hi Sarah, thanks for asking! My dream gem would be a lucite bed or lucite vanity in excellent shape, under $100

second of all, i love your blog and realize i totally need to comment more, yikes!!

third of all, my dream find would be a funky accent chair in need of an easy re-upholster job for my living room, ideally under $50 :)

oh man, one bowl, too many possibilities... i would most likely use it as a freeform base for blooms plucked from lush gardens i pass.

craigslist dream gem? a le corbusier chaise longue in mint condition, being given away free to anyone who can haul it away. sigh. a girl can dream.

Hi Keyse! That Cake Node Bowl would look fabtastic on my dining room table. And, silver is my favorite color! My super-cool find would be the entire set of Beverly Grey books written by Carole Keene. Very old and rare. (sigh)

If I win the Cake Node Bowl, I will polish it every day to keep its shine and spend much time wondering why it's called a Cake Node Bowl.

My dream craigslist find would be that card catalogue Andrew wants, for free, of course.

Hello love! Lurve the bowl. It would probably go on my bookshelf, next to my letterpress print that reads "Never economize on luxuries." I don't always abide by that (am totes getting my haircut at 20 percent off at Shag tomorrow), but I think it suits me enough of the time. My ideal CL find right now would be either a colorful funky hutch for my kitchen (the furniture in there is SO BAD right now) or a high-top table, also for the kitchen. (To save space and keep food out of the puppy's reach!)

I would wear it as a hat and it will be wonderful.

I would cover it with clothes like everything else in my apartment. My dream find is a bigger apartment, but you know that. An Eames recliner (for less than free) would also be amazing and more probable.

I would fill that shiz with peanut butter m&ms or other delicious candies!!! Never leave a diva without sweet stuff... I share a dream gem of a super-hott and sexxxy credenzzza for the living room. Uh! Diva's lady.
